Rimax introduces the Bio-I terminals which has the first biometric scanner which is not misled by false fingerprints and accepts “dirty” fingerprints.

The new systems for the Human Resources Management within the companies/clients of Rimax Staff on Time includes this biometric scanner which LE technology (Light Emision) beats noticeably the technologies of fingerprint's reading that currently exist.

The sensor LE reacts when the fingerprint is in contact with the scanner. The fingerprint's wrinkles generate light, creating the exact image of the fingerprint, even if it's dirty thus avoiding false rejects.

It's not possible to mislead the scanner using a false fingerprint (paper, plastic…) because these materials lack of the conductivity needed to generate the luminescence.

The new scanner is able to compare up to 4.200 different fingerprints. It allows registering two fingerprints per employee with a maximum of 2.100 employees.

The Terminals, made with strong materials and with a nice design, work as an easy computer peripheral ”plug & play”. They also include the Staff on Time Software for the management and administration of data, like shifts, holidays, business visits, breaks…
