Staff on time® PalmScan is a time/attendance and access control solution based on a new and revolutionary biometrical technology, for companies up to 2100 users.

With PalmScan, you will be able to control access to different areas of the company, establishing various security levels for each employee.

PalmScan technology is based on the capture, comparison and verification of the image of the skin of the palm of the hand. If we observe held up the palm of a hand we will be able to see that there are an infinity of details in its surface; the folds of flexion of the skin, the distribution of the different lines of the hand, the capillaries, the veins, the scars, the wrinkles… All these details form indeed the unique model which allows distinguishing clearly an individual among all the others more exclusively than fingerprint technology does.

The biometric system we developed allows to extract those details from a portion of the palm of the hand's surface and to compare them efficiently and quickly with a model which has previously been stored in the data base (enrolment).

The huge variability of the data used guaranties that the index of confusion is extremely low. Likewise, the efficiency of the identification algorithm, assures that a person who has to be recognised won't be refused by the system.

Palm Scan also includes an LCD which informs about the clocking result via text messages and graphics.

The Control Unit, controls the terminal. The data base is stored in the Control Unit which includes a network (TCP/IP) connection to make easier the integration of Staff on time ® in a local network.

The system can be controlled via remote connexion and you can access to the data created by Staff on time from other points of the network. The system is connected thanks to a network cable up to 100 meters without repeaters.

PRO USB solution includes the complete version of Staff on time ® software. This software is composed of four modules : Staff on time ® Admin (Administration module), Staff on time ® ID (biometric recognition module), Staff on time ® Info (list of present users), and Web module (for access via the Internet).
